JOYFUL MASTI YOGA

JOYFUL MASTI YOGA

Mastī (مستی) is a Sufi word for the state of spiritual ecstasy or divine intoxication; a joyful remembrance of our true nature that arises from within.

Join us for a heart-centered evening of yoga and sound, weaving together gentle movement, breath, meditation, stillness, and immersive rhythm. This is an invitation to reconnect with the divine essence within and leave feeling nourished, uplifted, and wrapped in the joyful ecstasy of simply being.

No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary. All are welcome.

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, a spill proof water bottle, and anything else that you need to make yourself comfortable during this practice.

Beth Stone

Beth is devoted to the practice and philosophy of yoga, striving to embody its principles in everyday life. A lifelong student and teacher, she shares her passion through meditation, Kundalini, Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, and therapeutic yoga. Since 2002, she has integrated her medical and therapeutic background with her teaching, creating a compassionate and accessible approach. Her intention is to hold an inclusive space where each person can reconnect with their inner light and embrace the beautifully imperfect journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery.

Riad Abdusalam

Riad Abdulsalam is a self-taught percussionist whose work spans tabla, kanjira, doumbek, cajón, and bongos. Shaped by roots in African drum troupes, years accompanying Bollywood vocalists, and a five-year Disney residency alongside sitar, he approaches rhythm as a fluid language. A collaborator with Eugene Snowden, Shine and the Shakers, and others, his playing crosses genres without losing identity: grounded in tradition, restless in application, and forged through the stage.
