Tickets are limited capacity; to ensure that everyone feels held and supported, only a limited amount of spots are available for the breathwork session. The breathwork session WILL sell out, so please make sure you sign up with your friends/ loved ones at the same time if you wanted to ensure that you can experience the session together.
Potluck
The potluck is open to all and you do not need a ticket if you’re only coming for that portion of the evening. Just be mindful that doors will not open until the breathwork session is over to ensure comfort of all session attendees.
Preparation
We will provide a thin mattress and blanket for you. We recommend bringing a pillow or bolster to place under your knees, though it is not required. Wear comfortable clothing and remove any constricting jewelry. It is in your best interest to withhold from eating 2 hours before your session. Have a closed container of water and a journal/something to write with close by.
Somatic Breathwork
Somatic Breathwork is an embodiment experience. It takes you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. Whether you have been through high stress/traumatic events or not, this modality is a powerful tool. Everyday micro-stressors build up in our nervous system, and if we do not discharge this pressure from our body by expressing (ex-ing the pressure), then it can lead to de(pression) and su(ppression) Expression is our birthright, and it is the only way our bodies can complete the feedback loop of the experiences. Somatic Release Breathwork™ provides a safe container for full permission and expression so that the nervous system can work it’s way back to regulation and your authentic self can come forth.
Somatic Breathwork employs circular connected breathing coupled with rhythmic music to produce a cathartic emotional release. This release may be in the form of moving, shaking, yelling, crying, or laughing. All of these expressions are welcome. All of you is welcome during your session, no expression is right or wrong. Your body is simply moving it through you so that it may move out of you. Emotions= Energy in Motion.
Using the breath, you will engage your body’s innate intelligence to gain clarity and sweep out any defenses, blockages, restrictions, or pains that hold you back from who you are and how you want to show up in this world.
By signing up for this session you agree to these terms:
