Winter Solstice & Cold Moon Gathering
As the year’s final full moon rises on December 15th, marking the Cold Moon, nature rests, and we are invited into quiet reflection. This Winter Solstice gathering at Center Street Retreat offers a sacred space to connect with the earth and moon, led by certified forest therapy guide Lady Eve of Singing Pines Forest Bathing and Sara Spangler of Palm Tree Yoga.
This 3-hour experience blends forest therapy, meditation, and yoga, guiding you through practices that release stress and honor the seasonal energy. Together, we’ll deepen our connection to nature, hone our intuition, and create community in celebration of the solstice.
Event Flow
- Welcome & Calling the Directions: Setting sacred space.
- Forest Bathing with Singing Pines: An immersive, sensory experience to ground in nature’s rhythms.
- Yoga Flow with Palm Tree Yoga: A grounding practice themed around our connection to Mother Earth. Through breathing and movement, we’ll stretch like roots, sway like branches, and explore stability, finding a deep connection to the earth beneath us.
- Second Forest Bathing & Cold Moon Yoga: Rooted in the winter solstice and Cold Moon energy, this session will celebrate the balance of light and dark. We’ll align our breath with lunar energy, using gentle yoga to embrace both the longest night and the return of the sun. Closing with meditation, we’ll envision the returning sun’s warmth, filling us with renewal and grounding.
- Ceremonial Tea & Moonrise Reflection: A quiet moment for reflection and gratitude as we sip tea and watch the moon rise.
Join us for an evening of balance, intention, and peace under the winter moon as we honor the turning of the season and our own inner light.
