RHYTHM WORKSHOP & INTEGRATION

100 Women Drumming Orlando: The Garden of Eden Edition

Drum Temple presents, 100 Women Drumming: The Garden of Eden Edition, a 2-events primal drumming experience honoring ancient myth, inner alchemy and the fruit of our vine. Saturday & Sunday September 27, 28.

Join us for a transformative weekend weaving together myth, movement, drumming, song, and ancestral remembrance. Inspired by the story of Lilith and her rebirth into the Garden of Eden—the forgotten, demonized feminine—we step into empowerment, reclaiming the parts of ourselves once cast into shadow.

     Saturday Night: Lilith & the Serpent in the Garden of Eden

    September 27 | 7:30–10:00pm

    Women only

    This is not a drum class–it is a ceremony.

    A 3-hour ceremony honoring the dark feminine and her rebirth into the light. Through drumming, primal movement, ceremonial experiencing, and voice, we descend into our deepest inner workings to reclaim the wisdom and power hidden within.

    Lilith was seen as the misunderstood and shamed dark feminine, asked to leave the Garden of Eden by Adam. But what if she was simply too powerful for her time? In this experience we will transmute societal conditioning and shine light on all parts of us to express as our WHOLE selves.

    Women’s Primal Drumming Ceremonies begin with a ritual theater performance by a divine 13 women, move into cacao and meditation, activate through the voice, chanting, and intentional throat chakra exploration, and move into primal movement, wild woman drumming, and deep expression. At the end, we lay in deep opening and receive the messages that come through. Full opening and release.

    We will:

    * Descend into our shadow realms and shine them with prismatic LIGHT

        * Express our primal selves through voice and movement

        * Alchemize shame/societal conditioning

        * Drum WILDLY & meditatively

        * Reclaim drumming as our BIRTHRIGHT

    • Attire: Vibrant, solid-colored flowy clothing to represent our multifaceted nature as women

    • Doors & Vendor Garden: 6:30–7:30pm

    • Bring: Water bottle, djembe or shamanic drum if you have one

    Cacao by Camila Cóndor of Medicine Wombyn Cacao-Camila will serve cacao from her own company in a ceremony of integrity and love

    Visionary art by Rox Cousino-we will be intentionally connecting with paintings by Rox throughout the ceremony to anchor in points of intention and expansion

    A spacious afternoon of rhythm learning, reflection, and integration. We will explore djembe technique, core rhythms, ancestral traditions, and how to carry drumming as medicine into daily life.

ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER

Katie Berns Lee is the founder of Drum Temple LLC, where she helps people open their hearts, ground in, and get in touch with their “truest and most primal selves” through deep activation, ancestral remembrance, and reconnection to the primordial heartbeat.

Through her music, Katie connects deeply to indigenous and ancient cultures from West Africa, Latin America, Mongolia, the Middle East, and folk America, and her mission encourages a return to original ways of feeling, expressing, and being as stewards of this Earth.

Katie believes that rhythm activates vibrational messages from our body and soul—so let us use it to communicate the messages coming through us during times of great responsibility and transformation.
