RETURN TO BREATH YOGA

This is an all-levels yoga flow class built around the theme of twists and the deeper practice of returning to presence. We’ll move through a grounding opening sequence, build heat with sun salutations, and work toward peak twisting poses through three progressive waves of standing flow. The second half slows into a generous floor sequence with long holds and a restoring close.

Optional hands-on adjustments and gentle grounding touches, with light oils offered during Savasana.

No yoga experience is required. No blocks are available at this venue, all modifications will be offered through the body alone. The class is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Please bring a yoga mat and a spill proof water bottle. Arrive a few minutes early, parking is outside on the grass if this is your first time here.

About the Practitioner

Dorien Ackerman

Dorien Ackerman

Dorien is a mechanical engineer by day and a yoga teacher in training, graduating in May 2026 after completing his 263-hour YTT.

He came to yoga through a back injury and stayed when he realized it wasn’t really about the poses, but about the breath, the body, and the slow work of discovering who you are underneath everything else.

He began teaching because it scared him. A pull to be seen, to challenge himself, and to give a voice to something inside that wanted to be expressed. Even before he felt ready.
His teaching isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. Creating space for people to settle into themselves, into acceptance, and into letting things be exactly as they are.
