MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE

MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE

Many of us, without realizing it, restrict the flow of our life force by holding onto old patterns of tension and limitation in the body. These restrictions may be connected to habitual breathing patterns, unresolved injuries, or lingering tightness in our joints, muscles, and connective tissues.

This class will introduce a practice of listening to the body and recognizing areas of restriction, creating the conditions for greater ease, freedom, and vitality. Through movement, breath, sound, and toning, we will explore ways to release unconscious holding patterns and support a more natural flow of energy and expression.

This class will take place in the pool, weather permitting.

What to bring:

  • Spill-proof water bottle
  • Swimwear
