CREATIVE FIRE: Art Witch New Year’s Ritual

What happens when we follow our wildest creative sparks? When we let go and trust our heart’s desire?

In this new year’s ritual, join Zaneta (host of the Art Witch podcast) as we work with the element of fire in a ritual to release our creative blocks and set intentions for our wildest dreams in the year ahead.

This ritual will include guided journaling, a channeled tarot reading for the year ahead, an altar for our creative pleasure and joy, a fire clearing ritual, and a candle ritual for setting intentions.  Please bring a tarot deck, a journal, writing utensils, any preferred art or magical materials, and an offering of beauty for the creativity altar. Possible offerings can be (honey, poems, art, song, flowers, a creation, adornments).

No ritual experience necessary, simply an open mind.

About the Practitioner

Zaneta

Zaneta

Zaneta (they.them) is a queer, multi-Filipinx interdisciplinary artist and spirit medium based in the Hudson Valley, NY. Drawing upon the work of their lola sa tuhód (great-grandmother) as a village hilot healer in the Philippines, Zaneta’s work reimagines our relationship with the more than human world through the relationality and reciprocity of sound and spirit mediumship as sacred forms of spiritual and ecological care. They host the Art Witch podcast and give spiritual readings for art and career, empowering creatives to realign with their soul’s work. They currently serve as the Environmental Artist in Residence at Marydell Faith and Life Center and are the recipient of the Brooklyn Arts Council Grant and the Strange Residency. You can learn more about their work at @soundartmagic on Instagram or visit their website.
