Continuing the Bodies of Water series, this session focuses on vocalization, toning, sound, and the living voice. We will explore the exhale as a pathway into presence, allowing our own voices to become the soundtrack for movement, prayer, and inner listening.
Using the tools of Body Dialogue, we’ll engage in free improvisational movement, guided by:
- Tai chi principles of rooting and rising
- Alexander Technique directions to support expansion, alignment, and ease in the body
- Breathing coordination as a bridge between sound and movement
Through toning, vibration, and fluid movement, we’ll explore the throat center as a place of expression, resonance, and truth-telling where prayer, sound, and embodiment meet.
These sessions are stand-alone; no prior experience or participation in previous classes is required.
Come explore fluidity, sound, and vibration, and listen to what moves through your body when you allow yourself to be heard.
Since we’re keeping this an intimate container, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations.
