During this workshop participants will using a powerful form of breathing to connect to their senses.
What to expect during this session:
- To learn the importance of proper breathing and how this type of breathwork affects the body, mind, and emotions
- Learn about interoceptive awareness and why it is important to strengthen this sense and how we can use this awareness to navigate life’s challenges in a more effective manner
- Together we will practice the breathing technique. This is a very powerful, 2 part, circular form of breathing.
- You will lie down and breathe for 30-35 minutes ending in a 15-20 minute calm relaxed meditation.
During the session you will be guided to connect to your most basic senses as well as interoception.
- Sound – Everyone will be given a special pair of sanitized, noise cancelling, headphones, so you will be able to choose the volume that you prefer for the musical journey
- Sight – New eye mask to wear for a completely immersive experience, feel free to bring your own.
- Smell – Gentle aroma therapy
- Touch – Reiki, light pressure, scalp, or temple massage performed by reiki master Antionette.
- Taste – Organic herbal tea and a small healthy treat post session
- Interoception – Using the circular breathing exercise you will be guided to connect to this awareness
