SHAKE, RELEASE, AWAKEN

This practice is inspired by the teachings of Osho.

It is a powerful active (somatic) meditation designed to release suppressed emotions, energize the body, and move into deep stillness.

This meditation was designed specifically for modern minds (like ours!) that struggle with stillness.

Instead of starting with silence, it burns through restlessness first, allowing stillness to arise naturally.

Each participant is welcome to do or don’t do as much as they would like, and each of the active phases can be modified.

First, we will create a very safe and sacred space. Then, we practice some grounding yoga asanas to help us settle into our bodies (approximately 10 minutes). We will continue with the dynamic meditation (approximately 40 minutes), and, we finish with an integration savasana and a short sit together (circle) to close (approximately 10 minutes)

Each participant is invited to bring a yoga mat, a cushion or pillow, a water bottle, a pen and journal, and a small snack for after the practice.
