Find the Others is a monthly gathering featuring a thoughtful mix of local artists, musicians, and DJs, creating a creative, relaxed, and vibrant atmosphere. These are casual, fun evenings designed to help people connect and enjoy meaningful conversation within the consciousness community.
Whether you’re new to exploring expanded states or have been walking this path for years, Find the Others offers an inclusive space to meet like-minded people, experience local creativity, and cultivate authentic connections.
We are proud to feature DJ Lady Eve and live artist Shay DeGrandis for this month’s Find the Others.
Sonic alchemy meets ancient Druid tradition with Lady Eve, guiding us through the Autumn Equinox as she spins a bass-heavy selection of music that weaves darkness and light. Dancing the night away, sipping tea, or making your own art are all options for this night spent in consciousness community. Shay DeGrandis offers an interactive art practice: Contours of Communion. Where you are invited to sit with someone as you draw each other, or sit with Shay as she draws you. The idea is for your eyes to only focus on the person sitting in front of you, not the paper, as you draw a contour outline of them. This creates space for a meditative practice on seeing the whole person in front of you, and also a keepsake for you to take home.

DJ LADY EVE
Lady Eve grew up in Atlanta and spent summers in Appalachia basking in the aroma of the forest and playing in mountain streams. She is a certified forest bathing guide and a Druid, incorporating somatic listening and subtle awareness throughout her artistic endeavors. For decades, she has been a radio producer, DJ, curator, and musician, performing live at the Mutek Mexico Festival, 800 East Atlanta Art Collective, Vancouver’s Signal & Noise Festival, Soundwave Festival, PuSH Festival, and produced her annual Pan Ambient event series with Seattle’s Decibel Festival.

SHAY DEGRANDIS
Shay DeGrandis makes: images, drawings; words placed in a particular order; intuitive sounds (emanations really); rhythms on hoops of skin; beautiful food to share in good company. She has a bunch of academic degrees, alleged proof of something but, as artless bits of expensive paper, they matter not. If you spend enough time with her, she may attempt to understand a piece of your heart on a piece of paper.
