CREATING OPEN & CONFIDENT CONVERSATIONS ABOUT SEX
Presented by Zac Dodson
A thoughtful and engaging lecture led by experienced therapists who specialize in helping individuals and couples build stronger, more connected relationships. Sexual communication is often one of the most vulnerable, and avoided, areas of intimacy, yet it holds tremendous potential for deepening trust and connection.
This session focuses on helping partners talk about sex with confidence, clarity, and care. Through a relational and values-based lens, participants will explore how personal history, beliefs, cultural messages, and lived experiences shape sexual expectations and dialogue. The presenters will unpack common barriers to open conversation, offer language that supports curiosity rather than defensiveness, and discuss how expressing desire, preferences, and boundaries can enhance both emotional and physical intimacy.
Attendees will leave with greater insight, practical tools, and a more compassionate framework for having honest, respectful conversations about sex, conversations that support mutual understanding, safety, and lasting connection.
